Vietnam

Welcome to Vietnam

Vietnam is a long country bordered by the South China Sea [Pacific Ocean] on the eastern side and Truong Son chain of mountains, covered with tropical forests on the west side. China is to its north, Laos and Cambodia to its west. The latest Asian dragon to awake from its slumber, it is relatively new to tourism but offers ago-old traditions and culture complemented by newly built resorts and hotels. It presents a traditional charm and rare beauty of tropical landscapes, towering buildings, colorful royal palaces, Kings’ tombs, and folk culture. As an untouched land with hugely diversified geography, Vietnam provides a great variety of fascinating and eye opening options to tourists. Vietnam is a new and exotic destination for tourists to discover from all over the world. The country is probably best known for its war with America, but the country has far more than war memorials or what the remnants of the battlefields have to offer. Vietnam is a nation of determined optimists who have weathered war after war, survived colonialism and communism, and are now getting to grips with the wheeler-dealer world of capitalism. Fiercly protective of their independence and sovereignty, the Vietnamese are graciously welcoming of foreigners who come as guests and not conuquerors.
