Cambodia, The Kingdom of Wonder

The Kingdom of Cambodia, a part of South-East Asia, shares borders with Thailand and Laos on the West and North, and with Vietnam on the East and the Southeast. The country is bounded on the Southeast by the Golf of Thailand. Cambodia is a gradually developing country that truly presents an Asian exotic and an Indochinese charm for every visitor. A rich cultural history, marred by terrible recent past forms the two faces of Cambodia: one shiny and happy, the other dark and complex. Remote forests and peaceful landscapes in the northeast, abundant natural attractions and empty beaches in the south, mighty rivers crossing the country contrast against magnificent ancient temples, Killing Fields and genocide museums. The spirituality of Khmer Empire and violence of the recent past years is facinating. The rebirth of the Kingdom of Cambodia has brought many benefits to the country: the opening of high quality hotels and restaurants, upgrading of roads and all transport links, increasing direct flights, improvment of standards of service and the providing of opportunity and employment for a new generation. Hospitable and open for everybody who want to feel a thrilling culture the Kingdom of Cambodia is ready to offer unforgettable holidays that’s suites any tourist preferences.

COOKING CLASSES

Khmer cuisine can be classified into peasant, elite and royal cuisine, although the difference between the royal and popular cuisine is not as pronounced as in the case of Thailand and Laos. The royal and elite dishes use more varied and higher quality ingredients, and contain more meat, while the peasant food is made from simpler and more accessible ingredients. While you are in Cambodia, it is best to learn local dishes and we are here to assist you, with a visit to a local market with your chef and learn how to collect the correct herbs and ingredients. Later, you can enjoy the meal that you have cooked.
