Itinerary

Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can either relax at your hotel or take a self-guided tour around the locality — dinner in the evening at a traditional Nepali Restaurant with a cultural performance.

The drive from Kathmandu (208 km) goes along river banks, local villages, farmlands, and beautiful mountain scenery. We shall stop to observe the scenic spot along the way and to stretch our legs. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax, or you have the option to stroll around Phewa lake and visit the local market.

A short drive of about an hour from Pokhara will take us to Kande on the Pokhara Baglung highway. Begin our trek from Kande, it is a gradual uphill climb (2hrs) to a clearing where there are lodges with a panoramic view of the Annapurna range and the Pokhara valley. Overnight stay in Australian Camp.

The trail from the Australian camp climbs up through the dense forest to the low camp. From here, we can have fantastic views of the Machhapuchhre range. Overnight stay in Low Camp.

Trek uphill through Forest camp to High Camp alongside a ridge towards Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre. As the climb progresses, tall trees give way to alpine shrubs and dwarf rhododendron bushes. After a steep ascent, we finally land at the High camp with an excellent view of the Annapurna range. Overnight stay in High Camp.

Early morning, hike towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp with pack lunch and water with you. We head towards “Mardi Himal Base camp” (4500m). It takes about 3 hr. to reach the base camp. We suggest to get there by the time of sunrise to see the magic of Himalaya. It offers the best panoramic view of Mount Annapurna Mountain Range. Spend some time exploring and enjoying the splendid views of the surrounding. Later hike down to high camp and have your lunch and return to Low camp for overnight. Overnight stay in Low Camp.

From the low camp, we will descend to Mardi Khola and walk along the river to Siding, where we shall board a Jeep and ride back to Pokhara (3hrs). Overnight stay in Pokhara.

After breakfast, we retrace our drive back to Kathmandu (the option is available to fly at an extra cost). The rest of the afternoon is free to explore around. Overnight stay in Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
